Merry Xmas 2009 =)

Pics tt i took of the riverside...look closely to see the crowds of ppl gathering there with their lighted-up headgears waiting for Xmas countdown ;p

Leechie had to attend a meeting late this aftn...ya...on xmas eve itself...then on my way to the meeting...saw an opening party for a new jap restaurant near my place...so pop ovr to the jap restaurant right after the meeting...wow...they served me som really nice authentic japanese food...starting off with salmon sashimi...then salmon soup tt came with real salmon n caviar (really v.yummy ;p)...then i wanna leave ler...but my jap lady host asked me to stay back for tempura...leechie being a tempura fan...stayed back...well...all the dishes were really nice...n had 2 sapporo beers to wash down the food too...n everythg was complimentary...keke ;p but i was alone...what a way to begin my xmas celebrations o.O" but was rather amused when the restaurant owners came ovr to take pics with a leechie o.O

Rushed down to Tampopo where our Xmas eve jap dining cum networking event was held...overwhelming response manz...i intially made a reservation for only 35 ppl...but had to keep increasing the capacity...until i reached a MAX MAX MAX capacity of 50 ppl...n had to put ppl on the waiting list...but with much regrets, the MAX MAX MAX capacity was already hit n we had to reject quite a number of participants! however, it was really great to see everyone...both known n new frenz with nicely balanced ratio of males n females =) well, more than 70% of the participants this time round were new faces who had joined our networking event for the first time! btw, quite a few really pretty ladies came...prettier than leechie n still single...too bad tt u guys who weren't there with us miz the chance to meet them ;p glad to see everyone enjoy themselves at the networking event tonite...n had som laughs ovr my unconventional lucky draw-game...at least it was a fun way to get to know more new frenz ;p well, leechie returned with a nice big Xmas exchange pressie wrapped in bling bling starry wrapping paper...i thot it could b som chocs...n som frenz were speculating tt it could b som log cake...well, if it were som log cake, then one could imagine what would happen to it with all the shaking etc...lol ;p ahem...it's actually a tin of cookies...yummy...keke ;p

Went ovr to clarke quay after the event...it was really crowded manz...leechie always kenna targeted n sprayed with foam whenever i crossed the bridge in previous years...this yr...leechie was smarty enuf to avoid the bridge n anyone holding spray foam ;p btw, saw a fako snow or foam machine outside attica o.O" while walking around trying to soak in the festive mood...bumped into a fren along the way n chatted for a while...n i actually thot tt i saw another fren hanging out with his fren at one of the pubs there...well, he was looking at me as if he knew a leechie...but i guess my eyes could b playing tricks on a leechie? o.O" anyway after walking a few rounds, we finally got a nice table along the riverside...n i managed to take som pics of the riverside as well...check out the pics tt i took =) shared a bottle of red wine...saw many ppl on the opposite side of the river bank waiting for countdown to xmas...but when the time came...there was hardly any cheers or celebration...pretty strange n anti-climax eh? o.O" anyway, we still had wine to drink toast to...lol ;p

Only realized tt my dzi bead ring was no longer on my fingers when i got home -.-" thot tt i lost it at clarke quay...only realized the v.next day tt my dzi bead ring was actually in my bling bling purse...hmmm, weird tt it landed up there...blur leechie cant rem how it could hav landed up there @.@"

Juz saw the holiday special of Absolute Boyfriend (i actually miz the v.last episode manz)...really touching...again, tears trickled down my face...even robots r more humane than humans...btw, my leechie mum commented tt the female lead is v.pretty...ya feel tt she has grown prettier too =) guess my leechie mum kinda miss watching jap dramas on tv these days...well, cant b helped...korean dramas r everywhere everyday manz as singaporeans r caught in the midst of k-fever manz o.O"
