Being a beauty addict, I'm constantly on the lookout for good deals. Ways to stretch my dollar are always highly welcomed! Many times, most of the best deals are found online...would like to share with you one webby with awesome deals that I chanced upon...

H&M LOVES SUMMER: THE SINGAPORE FASHION WEEK 2015 OFFICIAL AFTER-PARTY FEATURING CELEBRITY DJ GODFREY GAO

Transforming their flagship store at Orchard Building into a fully-fledged tropical paradise, H&M hosted the official Singapore Fashion Week after-party for the very first time. Making his Singapore debut, celebrity DJ "Goddy God" Godfrey Gao appeared on the decks and dished out fresh tracks, at the fashion party of the year.

I only attended 2 shows on this third day of Singapore Fashion Week so that I could be at H&M early to see the one and only Godfrey Gao...but he didn't appear that early...i was happily shopping on the higher floors of the H&M building until some girls were heard screaming at 11+pm...blur me wasn't aware that Godfrey already took the escalators down n i actually missed that...one of the girls was like: "How could you possibly miss someone of 1.93 m tall?" Me being me,"Oh well, I just did" =( So I had to rush down to the first floor of the H&M building where the DJ console was...just as when I reached the first floor, Godfrey Gao had just finished posing by the H&M photowall and was making his way towards the DJ console...n he walked right towards me n obviously I followed him to the DJ console...n tada, I parked myself right in front of him throughout his entire 30 min session...I was standing directly right in front of him at the DJ console...so close that when Godfrey Gao took selfies with the crowd, I was entirely camouflaged by his 1.93 m frame that I was nowhere to be found on his selfies...I had the best spot in the house!!! =D He was only arm's length away from me! I couldn't help but kept looking at him! Honestly, I can't concentrate on anything else when such a good looking man is right in front of me! Pardon my fangirling...well, I don't really do that often...but it's Godfrey Gao...so pls pardon my fangirling...lol...i took more than plenty of candid shots of Godfrey Gao ;p

Thanks H&M for bringing Godfrey Gao in for this fashion party of the year and for the awesome shopping discount! I bought a H&M striped peplum dress in white and navy =)

He was only arm's length away from me! I couldn't help but kept looking at him! Honestly, I can't concentrate on anything else when such a good looking man is right in front of me! Check out Godfrey's bewitching eyes!!

Honestly, I could look into these eyes forever!! He's so good looking that no filter is required for most of these photos!

STAR CREATION 2014 CAPSULE COLLECTION at Singapore Fashion Week 2015

The Star Creation 2014 judges faced tough decisions when viewing the outstanding showcase of original creations and casting their votes. The 3 winners of Star Creation 2014 return now, following a one-year internship with retailer F J Benjamin, to debut their maiden collections at Singapore Fashion Week 2015. The winners are: Rebecca Corinne Lam (Hong Kong), Zhou Jun (China) and Newman Han (South Korea). Plenty of jackets and outer wear are seen in Han Newman's collection. Rebecca Lam's chic pieces include printed tops and paid attention to the details at the back of the outfits. Bright hues is the central theme for Junzhou's capsule collection.

With heartfelt thanks to TaF.tc (The Academy of Fashion Professions), I was able to be there in person to witness the awesome live showcase of this capsule collection of these 3 talented Asian designers and to share my perspectives with my readers. This was the first show that I attended at Singapore Fashion Week 2015. Thanks Taf.tc for the awesome view from my second row seat which was really great for taking photos!

Up Close and Personal with SKII Ambassadors Godfrey Gao and Lee Sinje at Robinsons

I have been wanting to meet Godfrey Gao ever since I caught a glimpse of him backstage at Audi Fashion Festival last year. I was too starstruck when I first saw him then. I was frozen to the spot and too starstruck to even take any photos then. It was really a fan girl moment for me then. I see quite a number of celebrites at times but I'm sooooooooo excited and happy to see him in person at this meet-and-greet session, perhaps a little over zealous. But he's so nice and warm. I have never thought that I would share the same stage as Godfrey! Thanks Robinson and SKII for this wonderful opportunity to meet Godfrey. 

I was having a serious bout of conjunctivitis and my eyes were very red and teary and I couldn't wear contact lens and eye makeup. So I looked really horrible that day. But Godfrey's so sweet and noticed me. Perhaps it could have been what I wore that day? I was wearing a navy blue top with a black skirt when I met him...It was only much later that I saw this interview in which he said navy blue can't go with black and he thinks it is a fashion faux pas. Honestly, I don't see why navy blue can't go with black. I have paired navy blue with black on more than numerous occasions n I look more than decent in navy blue and black...not sure if what I wore that day reminded Godfrey of his first girlfriend? Anyway, i'm just a common face in the crowd...

I only found out much later that his dad was the ceo of Michelin Tyres Taiwan and his mum was former Miss Malaysia. Well, I must say he's blessed with really good genes. Anyway, for those interested in astrology and numerology, 22 is a magic number. Godfrey was born on the 22nd. I know at least one other person born on the 22nd and is born into a well-to-do family. Read some comments online about how he looks high maintenance. I would say that he has the good looks and body to carry off luxury labels well. Sometimes, it's the image that one projects while modeling some brands. If it's a luxury brand, it would be a great bonus if one can project the classy air well. And he has done it really well! He's so nice to stop to sign autographs and take photos with fans when he didn't need to. I happened to come across photos of this lady who waited for him at the various venues such as hotel and airport and he's so nice to take numerous photos with this same lady at each venue. Call it excellent PR skills or whatever, at least he makes the effort to please his fans. Personally, I find him much friendlier and warm as compared to some lesser-known celebrities who have their noses stuck in the air. No names mentioned :X

Btw, now that I have met and got up close and personal with Godfrey Gao and his lookalike, Henrique Fukuoka. Henrique may look a little like Godfrey from certain angles and looks, but I think they are very different people, personality wise. Henrique seems very sociable and chatty at social events while Godfrey comes across as rather shy and quiet. But Godfrey exudes brotherly charm and warmth. He speaks with a slanted mouth in the same manner as someone whom I find very brotherly...deja vu moment for me...

He's so nice to stop to sign autographs and take photos with fans when he didn't need to. But I was too starstruck and forgot to ask him to autograph the bottle of SKII facial treatment essence that I was holding in my hands!
