What I understood abt GE2015 based on what others say:
Most of the ppl who vote for the men in white are usually those who are rich.
Most of the ppl who vote for opposition are those who are younger or poorer.
My 2 cents observations about General Elections 2015:
Some of the existing ministers are personal friends of the wealthy n it's not surprising if anyone were to vote for your own friends. Many wealthy ppl would prefer stability n would prefer for things not to change cos they don't know what new changes some opposition might bring. Many businessmen don't support the minimum wage suggestion that some opposition is trying to propose so guess the opposition might have lost some votes there. Somehow in our practical society, at the end of the day, it could boil down to $$$ n what's in it for me.
Some younger citizens would prefer change. N those who get left behind further n further n trying to keep up with the rising costs of living vote for the opposition with the hope that something could be done to improve their lives. Some could just be frustrated with the daily issues n inconveniences so they vote for the opposition. N there's always a group of ppl who will definitely vote for the opposition for the sake of opposing, no matter what. Lol.
Change would be good, if it's for the better...and personally I feel that empathy and the ability to connect with people are really important qualities...cos at the end of the day, most citizens would want to have MPs who can help them to voice their concerns in Parliament and to help to improve their quality of lives...so it's quite sad that some candidates who have been living a privileged life might be pretty out of touch with the struggles and harsh reality that some poorer citizens who are left behind as a society progresses are facing in their daily lives...
What I feel is that I would always want an A Team. N it really depends on which area you stay in, cos clearly the quality of the opposition varies from area to area. So the A team may or may not be the opposition in your area. So I believe it would be wiser to vote for the Better team in your area whom you believe can better serve u n your GRC =) anyway, you and your GRC would be the ones who have to live with this decision for the next few years ya ;p anyway, no names mentioned, but some of the candidates really look n speak like jokers...n i seriously wouldn't wanna be associated with such jokers =.= For me, it's always about the A team =)

If you can guess which parties the rich n those at the other end of the spectrum are gonna vote for, then guess it's the votes of the sandwiched class which could make a difference...
And I have friends who are based overseas who have flown back to Singapore just to immerse themselves in this election fever...truly Singaporean ya =) thumbs up for the Singapore spirit!
Disclaimer: This is not a political blog and this posting is not to induce anyone to vote for any political party. My observations are just my observations...you have the final decision over your vote and I respect your decision. And I didn't state any allegiance to any particular political party, except that I want the best for Singapore and will support the A team and hope that the Better team in each GRC wins =)
Charisma is extremely important in politics n in life...to gain more supporters n followers...some leaders n social media personas are so charming online n in real life...n i can understand why they are so popular...people can forget what you say...but they will never forget how you treat them and how you make them feel...sincerity n authenticity r always valued...at least, i pride on these values over hype...but i guess not everyone thinks likewise in this virtual world...but i always respect other differing opinions =) Not too sure if there are many fashion n beauty bloggers out there who can write convincingly on politics too ;p

Workers' Party's rally situation at Simei just now. It's party carnival atmosphere here and what you see in this photo ain't ants!
Took this photo from the 6th level of a nearby flat while enjoying the great breeze here. I'm honestly getting a headache from the huge crowd here.
Me being me obviously had to walk into the huge crowd to soak in the carnival atmosphere. But yours truly is vertically challenged and such situation don't work to my favor. But I see plenty of people who came here prepared with their stools and chairs.
Photo with one of the most good-looking MPs in early August when I happened to walk past their LKY event in Tampines. Mr. Baey Yam Keng used to be my MP in Tanjong Pagar GRC. Sorry eh, I don't stay in Tampines and can't vote for you. Btw, the same Remembering Lee Kuan Yew exhibition is coming to Tanjong Pagar Community Club very soon =)
I happened to walk past this huge tent in Tampines in early August when someone asked me to join the queue. So me being minion Bob joined the queue out of curiosity. When I shook the Minister's hands, he asked me which block I'm staying at? So me being me, was like: "Block? I don't stay here. I'm from Tanjong Pagar GRC. I happened to walk past" =)
Selfie with Minister Mr. Lim Swee Say at an NTUC event last year and we were told to address him as "Brother" that evening...I was quite surprised and thought there would be plenty of security everywhere but not so...
Saw photos of long queues of people queuing to buy these SG50 commemorative notes, so thought it's really cool that my dad got these notes at the bank on the first day of the launch without queuing at all. The banker just asked him to take a seat before bringing the notes out to him =)
Happened to see this speech...it's pure charisma...honestly, no offence, but I think Dr. Chee Soon Juan would stand a better chance at SMC instead of GRC...You need an A team to win GRC...

I was listening to this while lying on my bed...then i started crying n crying...watch it!
This is unrelated to my post but thought that I will just leave you with the lovely images that I took at the recent Singapore Night Festival...this scene looks like a page from a fairytale...so dreamy n surreal...
This is a nofilter, unedited photo that I took with fairies floating around above me...see those fairydust? how surreal it feels...
The performance in front of SAM...i'm vertically challenged n there were so many ppl who stood in the crowd, holding up all sorts of phones n cameras on selfie sticks n I had to delete away most of the photos taken when I could see almost nothing except their big big screens in my photos
