WP Rally 2011 LIVE!!!

This was the v.first time that leechie made her appearance at any rally speeches...although leechie wont b going to the polls, i was v.muchie tempted to go experience the atmosphere live myself after seeing all the huge crowds in the pics n clips of WP rallies which really looked v.happening n cool manz! many frenz n relatives attended WP rallies over the past few days too...even heard of some fb frenz rushing down as early as 5pm juz to "chop" good seats...lol ;p

It was a loooong walk into the open field at kallang ave where the rally was held...but it didnt matter tt we were unsure of the exact directions to the venue...well, one juz had to follow the crowd...lol ;p it was already damn damn damn packed n crowded by the time we arrived at the rally venue! wow manz...the atmosphere was electrifying! even more happening than any soccer matchie! most of the ppl in the crowd were standing...with some sitting by the roadside...n from where i was standing..i couldnt see the stage at all...could only hear the rally speeches o.O n it was kinda like carnival mood with many mobile ice-cream, drinks, muah chee stalls there...lol ;p btw, the popular flags n hammers n other souvenirs were all outta stock! cheers n shouts of "kelong" from the crowd reminded leechie of the days when i used to watch soccer matches at national stadium as a teenager o.O

My leechie legs started to complain after standing for an hour...n i went to sit by the roadside...not exactly the most glamorous pose...lol ;p i guess mr. Low Thia Kiang's speech was the highlight of the nite n many ppl went there to hear him speak live! =) juz found out tt bro Justin also attended this rally too...although we were both standing on the roads, it was too crowded...didnt manage to see him there o.O" oh n i muz stress tt nobody paid us to attend the rally! n i paid for my ice-cream n muah chee myself...no complimentary meals nor chartered buses! o.O"

Was amused tt som ppl actually brought along their own seats o.O

Btw, i was pissed when i saw the following quote!
"For instance, he spoke in Teochew of meeting an old man who said that choosing an MP is like choosing a wife. 'If your wife is unable to cook, there's no point. You must choose a wife who is able to do things for you,' he recounted."
"If your wife is unable to cook, there’s no point. You must choose a wife who is able to do things for you."

Excuse moi, why quote the old man with such a sexist remark? r we still living in the stone-age? if i were to stay at Hougang n can exercise my vote, u can bet who i'm so NOT gonna vote for! i wouldnt fancy living in a cave, would ya? =.=" u shld have seen the long list of fb responses to this quote...Alvin summed it up best: "What the F... What is this man talking? My wife work hard and look after the kids , she dunno how to cook...and i also complain no home meals to eat... I change her? "

Gosh...juz found out tt Miss Kate Spade attended the same secondary school as leechie...omg...faintz =.=" would everyone see us as materialistic airheads? =.=" Oh no...so many comments tt Kate Spade is second-tiered...leechie needs to go pose with a prada box instead ;p n where is my golden tortoise? i need to pose next to one too...lol ;p oh ya...n i muz rem to stamp my feet n say "i don't know what to say" ;p

Oops...i forgot to put up my V sign ;p n Anna said she'll only vote for leechie if i put the V sign...lol ;p

Was told tt Kate Spade is too 2nd-tiered...so posed with my Prada box instead ;p

Remembering to put up the V sign this time ;p

This aint a political blog n this blog posting is definitely not an inducement for you to vote for any particular political party! but do exercise your vote wisely ya =) but I wanna leave u with this beautiful quote from someone who attended mr. Chiam See Tong's rally:
"He values every individual as a human being capable of living his or her life to the fullest, and is not just a pawn or a statistics."

Look at the atmosphere!!! Bro Justin summed it up best: "The mood was electrifying and the sense of being a Singaporean strong. Priceless!"

Wow...this is impressive! o.O
From Bro Justin: "Impressive huh? These are the passionate guys to support what they believe in. No need for air-conditioned buses and free meals, they took it upon themselves to be there. The ambience was electrifying reciting the national pledge, and one truly felt Singaporean."

Charismatic speaker o.O

Amused ;p

Goal post smaller than the ball...interesting analogy ;p

I was there...o.O

Politics can be a dirty game eh? =.="

No empty promises!

Accounting to u, the ppl!

Last WP Rally of 2011 o.O

U gotta wait for another 5 more years before the next WP rally o.O

The results tt everyone had been waiting for! History was made!!!
