10 Signs The Guy Isn't Right For You

Joshua says "or wise enough to let go :)"

Jason sums it up best:
"If you can hold it up and put it down, it's called weight-lifting; if you can hold it up but can never put it down, it's called burden-bearing. Pitifully, most of the people are bearing heavy burdens when they are in love."

Was reading this interesting article from tt i wanna share with u...

Recently, i have strangers asking me why am i unattached esp since i'm pretty...well, things r not as simple as it seems...Joey says maybe ppl find me unapproachable...Brian asks if i'm playing hard to get...n i juz realized tt most guys can rem how i look but they dont rem what i do! =.= n according to some superficial palm analysis, i'm supposed to have alot of admirers but probs with relationships...but what's the point of having the attention of so many guys when i cant have the affection of the one tt my heart longs for? :'( i'm honestly quite tired of all the sweet nothings tt i hear -.- but from the bottom of my leechie heart...the earlier u realize that the guy is not right for u...the better it is for u =)

I had to get the following translated...btw, my uncle once looked at my palms n said tt i have many lines coming out from the heart line juz like his (as per pic1)...i had no idea tt meant the numerous admirers...but my palms look confusing...there r a series of islands on the heart line too...n some fengshui master was trying to tell me tt this is bad for relationships! =.="

Haiz... :'(

Btw, i also read another article on "time wasters" n "players" n that was when i realized tt someone who keeps claiming tt he wanna be married with kids in 5 yrs' time will still be looking for his perfect ideal princess who doesnt exist in reality even 10 years down the road!

U may think tt most party guys r playboys who hop from one gal to the next...but even worse r those guys who claim tt they dont party but go chasing after every single skirt in sight n who keep asking u to intro gals to them! =.=

"10 signs the guy isn't right for you
Don't know if he's the one for you? Here are some tips to help you figure things out.

The saying 'love is blind' is often used to describe anything associated with love. Let's be honest, love does make you blind, but only towards what is happening in the relationship. And when this happens, you will start to make excuses for any bad behavior because you think you are in love with him, and as long as he is happy, you are too. Happiness as defined generally is a state of mind or feeling characterized by contentment, love, satisfaction, pleasure or joy. And when you lack any one of these feelings, you, my friend, may not be as happy as you think you are.

So here are 10 signs he's just not right for you.

He gets annoyed whenever you are emotional
This is a situation where he would either get really annoyed or pay no attention to you when you're being emotional, at a vulnerable state or just being plain sensitive towards him. It's even worse when you're actually telling him that he's hurting you in some way and he looks at you as if you are the world's most annoying thing he has ever seen or as if you're speaking in a language he can't understand.

He makes you feel as if everything is your fault and puts you down constantly
He blames you for anything and everything that goes wrong. He blames you if his clothes are not ironed, when the car ran out of fuel, because he's unemployed and the list goes on. Technically, he's blaming you for everything that went wrong even if it's something that is totally out of your circle of control. If that's not bad enough, he puts you down for just being who you are, when in fact he is supposed to love you for who you really are. He thinks that by putting you down he could change you from who you are to what he wants you to be, and if that is the case, then he really doesn't deserve you and is definitely not the one.

He hits you
Whether it's a slap on the face or a shove towards the wall, it is still physical abuse. Physical abuse does not have to leave visible bruises, as long as he hurts you physically in any way, it amounts to physical abuse.

He cheats on you
Remember the phrase 'once a cheater, always a cheater'? Well there's no true or false to that saying because everyone deserves a second chance but shouldn't that make you question his commitment to the relationship?

It's just sex
When all there is to the relationship is sexual intercourse, and the only intimacy that exists between you is in the bedroom. Sexual connection is not wrong, but if that is the only common ground he shares with you then what is there to the relationship?

He controls you
It's no harm if he knows where you are, what are you doing or who you're with, but if he restricts you just cause he wants to without a reason, then he is controlling you. A relationship should be based on trust, thus if he's controlling you, the relationship wouldn't work because he's stopping you from living your life.

Your friends don't like him and vice versa
Your friends would be people who know you well, which means that they might pick up signs which you may miss. Everyone has their own view of things, but not all of them will suit you, but the least you should do is think about it. While doing this it is very important to be honest with yourself.

He's a cry baby
Venting once in a while after a bad day is fine, but if he whines and complains about anything and everything all the time and is always being negative about things around him then it's bad for you. When you are constantly with a negative person, you would become as negative as he is and it will affect you personally.

He's selfish and inconsiderate
He doesn't care about your needs, and it's only about him all the time. For example, after a long day of work you see him and all he does is talk about his day without even considering to ask you how was yours, if you've eaten or what do you want to do. Communication in a relationship is often underrated when it is actually the most important thing.

There's no give and take
A relationship involves two people, it needs input of both the people involved - just as how you need two hands to clap. It's a give and take situation, if your guy is having problems then you should be his pillar of support and vice versa. But if only one person has to be the pillar of support throughout the relationship then that person will eventually be drained and exhausted and that pillar would just tumble down.

So those are the 10 signs that he's not right for you. There is no one out there who can really tell you whether or not someone is right for you; you're the one who really knows what's going on in your relationship. As long as you are happy then he may be the one for you, just remember: you would want someone who you can grow with and not someone who brings you down, someone who loves you for who you really are and not someone you'd have to rearrange your life for to suit his."

Soooooooo sadz :'(

O.o...the sad thing is....there r many guys who r holding onto their gfs until someone better comes along =.="

Trust is a fragile thing...

To quote Matthew: "Relationships are like glass. Sometimes it's better to leave them broken than try to hurt yourself putting it back together."

"The Top Ten Lessons Steve Jobs Taught Us

Three weeks ago, I wrote a post about the top ten lessons Steve Jobs could teach us.

I had a feeling – like I suspect many others – that he only had a few more days with us on this Earth.

He’s irreplaceable. We’ll never see anyone else like him. Edison, Einstein, Henry Ford… he has left an indelible mark on our society in the last 35 years and for many more to come.

Yet, despite his greatness, he also taught us that he’s just a man. He got up every day, like you and me. He kissed his family goodbye and he threw his heart and soul into his work – his passion — just like we can.

Here are the Top Ten Lessons Steve Jobs taught us:

1. The most enduring innovations marry art and science – Steve has always pointed out that the biggest difference between Apple and all the other computer (and post-PC) companies through history is that Apple always tried to marry art and science. Jobs pointed out the original team working on the Mac had backgrounds in anthropology, art, history, and poetry. That’s always been important in making Apple’s products stand out. It’s the difference between the iPad and every other tablet computer that came before it or since. It is the look and feel of a product. It is its soul. But it is such a difficult thing for computer scientists or engineers to see that importance, so any company must have a leader that sees that importance.

2. To create the future, you can’t do it through focus groups – There is a school of thought in management theory that — if you’re in the consumer-facing space building products and services — you’ve got to listen to your customer. Steve Jobs was one of the first businessmen to say that was a waste of time. The customers today don’t always know what they want, especially if it’s something they’ve never seen, heard, or touched before. When it became clear that Apple would come out with a tablet, many were skeptical. When people heard the name (iPad), it was a joke in the Twitter-sphere for a day. But when people held one, and used it, it became a ‘must have.’ They didn’t know how they’d previously lived without one. It became the fastest growing Apple product in its history. Jobs (and the Apple team) trusted himself more than others. Picasso and great artists have done that for centuries. Jobs was the first in business.

3. Never fear failure – Jobs was fired by the successor he picked. It was one of the most public embarrassments of the last 30 years in business. Yet, he didn’t become a venture capitalist never to be heard from again. He didn’t start a production company and do a lot of lunches. He picked himself up and got back to work following his passion. Eight years ago, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and told he only had a few weeks to live. As Samuel Johnson said, there’s nothing like your impending death to focus the mind. From Jobs’ 2005 Stanford commencement speech:

“No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

4. You can’t connect the dots forward – only backward – This is another gem from the 2005 Stanford speech. The idea behind the concept is that, as much as we try to plan our lives ahead in advance, there’s always something that’s completely unpredictable about life. What seems like bitter anguish and defeat in the moment — getting dumped by a girlfriend, not getting that job at McKinsey, “wasting” 4 years of your life on a start-up that didn’t pan out as you wanted — can turn out to sow the seeds of your unimaginable success years from now. You can’t be too attached to how you think your life is supposed to work out and instead trust that all the dots will be connected in the future. This is all part of the plan.

“Again, you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.

5. Listen to that voice in the back of your head that tells you if you’re on the right track or not – Most of us don’t hear a voice inside our heads. We’ve simply decided that we’re going to work in finance or be a doctor because that’s what our parents told us we should do or because we wanted to make a lot of money. When we consciously or unconsciously make that decision, we snuff out that little voice in our head. From then on, most of us put it on automatic pilot. We mail it in. You have met these people. They’re nice people. But they’re not changing the world. Jobs has always been a restless soul. A man in a hurry. A man with a plan. His plan isn’t for everyone. It was his plan. He wanted to build computers. Some people have a voice that tells them to fight for democracy. Some have one that tells them to become an expert in miniature spoons. When Jobs first saw an example of a Graphical User Interface — a GUI — he knew this was the future of computing and that he had to create it. That became the Macintosh. Whatever your voice is telling you, you would be smart to listen to it. Even if it tells you to quit your job, or move to China, or leave your partner.

6. Expect a lot from yourself and others – We have heard stories of Steve Jobs yelling or dressing down staff. He’s a control freak, we’ve heard – a perfectionist. The bottom line is that he is in touch with his passion and that little voice in the back of his head. He gives a damn. He wants the best from himself and everyone who works for him. If they don’t give a damn, he doesn’t want them around. And yet — he keeps attracting amazing talent around him. Why? Because talent gives a damn too. There’s a saying: if you’re a “B” player, you’ll hire “C” players below you because you don’t want them to look smarter than you. If you’re an “A” player, you’ll hire “A+” players below you, because you want the best result.

7. Don’t care about being right. Care about succeeding – Jobs used this line in an interview after he was fired by Apple. If you have to steal others’ great ideas to make yours better, do it. You can’t be married to your vision of how a product is going to work out, such that you forget about current reality. When the Apple III came out, it was hot and warped its motherboard even though Jobs had insisted it would be quiet and sleek. If Jobs had stuck with Lisa, Apple would have never developed the Mac.

8. Find the most talented people to surround yourself with – There is a misconception that Apple is Steve Jobs. Everyone else in the company is a faceless minion working to please the all-seeing and all-knowing Jobs. In reality, Jobs has surrounded himself with talent: Phil Schiller, Jony Ive, Peter Oppenheimer, Tim Cook, the former head of stores Ron Johnson. These are all super-talented people who don’t get the credit they deserve. The fact that Apple’s stock price has been so strong since Jobs left as CEO is a credit to the strength of the team. Jobs has hired bad managerial talent before. John Sculley ended up firing Jobs and — according to Jobs — almost killing the company. Give credit to Jobs for learning from this mistake and realizing that he can’t do anything without great talent around him.

9. Stay hungry, stay foolish - Again from the end of Jobs’ memorable Stanford speech:

“When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation. It was created by a fellow named Stewart Brand not far from here in Menlo Park, and he brought it to life with his poetic touch. This was in the late 1960′s, before personal computers and desktop publishing, so it was all made with typewriters, scissors, and polaroid cameras. It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.

Stewart and his team put out several issues of The Whole Earth Catalog, and then when it had run its course, they put out a final issue. It was the mid-1970s, and I was your age. On the back cover of their final issue was a photograph of an early morning country road, the kind you might find yourself hitchhiking on if you were so adventurous. Beneath it were the words: “Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.” It was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish. And I have always wished that for myself. And now, as you graduate to begin anew, I wish that for you.

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

10. Anything is possible through hard work, determination, and a sense of vision – Although he’s the greatest CEO ever and the father of the modern computer, at the end of the day, Steve Jobs is just a guy. He’s a husband, a father, a friend — like you and me. We can be just as special as he is — if we learn his lessons and start applying them in our lives. When Jobs returned to Apple in the 1990s, it was was weeks away from bankruptcy. It’s now the biggest company in the world. Anything’s possible in life if you continue to follow the simple lessons laid out above.

May you change the world."

This is good!

Worker replies, "Cuz I'm allergic to peanuts!" "

"A good reminder to all that no one is bigger than the market, simply 'predicting' where it will go is akin to willing the market to conform to expectation where it should be the other way round.

Point to ponder upon."

There will always be ppl who think that they must carry a branded bag or wear a branded watch or drive an expensive car to show that they have "arrived"...but we are all reduced to ashes at the end of the day...we all share a common final destination in life -> death...

Signs You’re Not Ready For A Relationship...

Saw this interesting article tt i wanna share with u...

Rem to love yourself first before anyone can love u...♥

Signs you’re not ready for a relationship

"Are you ready to settle down or still fearful of the responsibilities of a serious relationship?

Dumped by your ex and think you're ready for the next fling? You're probably not. Check out these sure-fire signs that say you're better off staying single for now...

You want to make your ex jealous
You know you've fully let go when you can think about your ex with neutrality. But do you 'invent' a boyfriend or pretend to have one in hopes of making him jealous? While it's healthy to vent your anger, if you think there's a need to make your ex jealous, to him you're just a needy person who's still dwelling on the past. We know breakups can be hard to do. But when you let that pain linger for too long, it'll do you no good. If you're still mired in your past relationship, chances are, you're not ready for a new one yet.

You still think about your ex every day
You still keep his mementoes with you and you feel disgruntled that he left you in the past. In efforts to make him regret for dumping you, you plot various actions or trash talk him on Facebook. But letting go means not making your ex the centre of your life. You're officially ready for a real relationship when you're totally over your old flame -- that's when you stop wasting your time engrossed in anything related to your ex.

You're not happy with yourself
Do you have self-acceptance issues? Obviously, you're not ready for a relationship until you're happy with yourself. If you can't accept for who you are, how would your future partner love you? Confidence is a huge attraction to the opposite sex. So, if you show lack of self-esteem, you're never going to move forward. Potential dates are going to avoid you.

You're looking for a rebound guy/girl
After splitting with your partner, you seek for instant gratification by rushing into the next attractive person as a replacement. As painful as a breakup is, a rebound fling is not going to cure your lovelorn heart. While having a stand-in for your bitterness can fill the void temporarily, it won't be long until you realise that it can never solve problems from your past relationships.

You're rushing into getting one
You're never single and you're always in a relationship because you feel insecure being alone. The quicker you jump back in the water to get a new partner, the greater the odds are that he won't be the genuine love of your life. And you'd rather be single than being with someone whom you're not compatible with. Instead of wasting time on these pointless flings, focus on developing yourself, which would be more attractive to your potential dates.

You don't have time for one
You are too busy to date and you can never find time to go out because of your career. Relationships don't have to interfere with your career all the time, but if you choose to spend great deal of time and effort trying to accomplish your career goals instead of pursuing on relationships, it's probably best for you to go solo until you're satisfied with your accomplishments or when you think a relationship will not get in the way.

You always have the same relationship issue in the past
Did you cheat on your ex previously or engage in verbal brawls over the same issue? If all of your previous breakups were due to the same problem, you should never start a new relationship until you've figured out what went wrong. It pays to give yourself some time reflecting on yourself so that the same mistake will never be repeated again."

MUST-READ: ‘My legs are now so tired and weak’

Tears rolled down my face as i read the following article...

It's always so sad to read abt their lives in sg...a place where u work till u die? :'( guess there r ppl at the food courts who wouldnt even care abt their presence...or might even find them annoying n wave them away? =( honestly, i feel so small n insignificant compared to this elderly lady here...she made my long hours seem like nothing...how many ppl out there can empathize with how hard this old lady needs to slog juz to have enough $ to eat???!!! i wonder what kind of welfare benefits r there for the needy here?! i bet there r many others like her who need to slog till they die!!! :'(

Is working till death somthing tt would become an accepted norm here soon? o.O my heart really goes out to the many needy elderly ppl out there...they r also someone's mummy or granny...they r also a part of our society...perhaps hidden in some coffeeshops in some heartlands...but perhaps not recognized by most of the practical n apathetic general population who would prefer to rub shoulders with their successful peers n ppl whom they think can help them climb the corporate ladder faster or whom can boost their biz rather than to care abt anyone perceived to be doing some "lowly" jobs?! maybe those in their smart suits n posh offices r too busy thinking of how to squeeze more $$$...who cares abt what could be done to improve the quality of life of the needy elderly folks here?! o.O damn...tears again rolled down my face as i write... :'(

By Andrew Loh | SingaporeScene

"My friend and I were having a late supper at a 24-hour food court in Hougang on Thursday. It was about 11:30pm.

She came up to us at the table. "Want to buy tissue?" she said. The voice sounded familiar to me. I turned around and indeed it was the same elderly lady whom I have seen in other parts of Hougang at other times, peddling her tissue packs at the neighbourhood coffeeshops.

She didn't wait for a reply. "2 packets for S$1.20," she said in the local dialect, Hokkien, as she laid the 2 tissue packs on the table. I reached into my wallet and gave her a S$2 note.

"You are working late," I said to her.

"I just came out of the hospital," she replied. "The other day I fainted and fell. They called an ambulance and sent me to the hospital."

She had been doing one of her rounds at the coffeeshops when it happened, three weeks ago. "Tan Tock Seng Hospital," she offered. "I had to stay there for three weeks and was only discharged three days ago." I asked her why she fainted, though I could guess the reasons.

Please don't close the door until my legs are in the car.

Madam LimLim, as she later told me her name was, is a frail-looking woman. The deep-set lines on her face, and the prominent sockets of her eyes, the paper-thin skin on her arms marked with liver spots or old age spots as they are sometimes called, and her severely hunched back tell a tale of struggle in making ends meet.

"I no longer sell 4-D tickets," she said, referring to the lottery tickets which she would sell for S$2.50 each, making 50 cents off each ticket. "When I fainted that day, I had 120 tickets with me."

She said the tickets were worth about S$300. As she was in hospital for an extended period, she could not sell or return them. So she lost that amount of money. This is why she now sells tissue paper. At least they do not have an expiry date like the tickets.

"You shouldn't work so late," I urged her.

"No choice," she replied. "Otherwise I won't have enough to eat.
"

A lady's kindness

Just then, another lady, perhaps in her 60s, came up to Lim and thrusted a S$10 note into her hands. "Aunty, take this," the lady said to Lim. But the older woman would not accept it.

"No, no! I cannot take this." The lady insisted as she continued to push the note into Lim's hands. After some to-ing and fro-ing, the elderly madam finally had no choice really but to accept the S$10.

"Thank you," she said to the other lady who quickly took her leave without saying much.

As it turned out, the lady who gave Lim the S$10, as my friend observed, was a cardboard collector. She had parked her trolly, which is evidently used for collecting card boards, outside the food court before approaching Lim to give her the money. Indeed, after having handed the note to the older woman, she went back to her trolly and left, pushing her trolly with her.

Lim, as I noticed, was a little embarrassed from what had just transpired which had attracted the attention of the patrons and stall owners in the food court. She quickly put the note in her pocket, and continued to make her rounds of the food court, with the bag which contained the tissue packs slung on her shoulders and a well-worn umbrella in her hands.

As she walked away, all hunched and in tentative steps, I was on the one hand sad for her while on the other full of admiration of her courage and strength.

It was by this time approaching midnight and we wanted to speak with Lim more. We went around the food court looking for her. She wasn't there anymore. So we went out of the food court and looked around the surrounding area. It was already dark and the shops were all closed. Only a handful of people were around -- but not Lim.

"She must have gone to the coffeeshop nearby," I told my friend. I am quite familiar with the area and knew that the coffeeshop wasn't far away. So we made our way there. And indeed, Lim was there, going from table to table to peddle her tissue packs. We didn't want to interrupt her and so we sat down at a table and waited.

10 minutes later, she was done and we saw her making her way out of the coffeeshop. We went to meet her. When she saw us, she said, "Want to buy tissue paper?"

I said, "We bought from you just now at the food court, remember?"

She smiled and replied, "Oh, you bought already."

A simple request

I asked her where she lived. "Just nearby, behind Hougang Mall." Then she asked me, "Do you drive?"

I replied, "No, I don't drive."

"Oh, I thought if you did, you could maybe send me home," she said. "My legs are now so tired and weak."

Just then, my friend, who did not hear the exchange between me and Mdm Lim, came up to me and asked if we could send her home. I had momentarily forgotten that my friend drives. "Oh aunty," I said to Lim, "My friend drives. We can send you home."

"Oh, that's good," she replied, clearly thankful and relieved that she would not have to make the long way home on foot.

When we got to the car, she asked me to help her. "My legs have no strength anymore." She then held my hands as she settled herself into the seat. "Please don't close the door until my legs are in the car," she told me.

In the car, I asked her about her family. "I have only one daughter," she replied. "But her husband has heart problems. For 20 years already, since he was in his 30s. He can't work because of this. Now in his 50s, they also have financial problems of their own. He needs to see the doctor, too."

Lim then told me that she had to pay S$4,500 for her three-week hospital stay. "That is a lot of money," she said. "But my daughter used her CPF to pay for me. My daughter is Singaporean. I am only PR, that is why so expensive. I have been in Singapore for 40 years but I am stupid, didn't know to apply for citizenship." She was visibly upset.

Lim would leave her home at 5.30pm each day to sell her tissue papers. It is a cooler time of day. She would only go home close to midnight. She makes about $10 or slightly more daily, just enough for her personal expenses.

As we reached her HDB block, she thanked us several times, wishing us prosperity. I realised that her home was quite some distance from the food court and coffeeshop and that it must take her quite an effort to trudge there everyday to do her rounds.

"Let me walk you to the elevator, " I offered.

"Ok," she said. "Can you leave only when the elevator door has closed?" she asked me.

I replied that I would, of course. She bade me goodnight and thanked my friend and I several times for driving her home.

Finally, the elevator arrived. I asked her to take care of herself, as the doors closed.

It was about 12.30am.

I am sure I will see her again around the neighbourhood.

She is 83-years old."

~*~ Johnnie Walker F1 Jet Black Party at One On The Bund ~*~

This is the F1 party to be seen at this weekend...where Singapore's party elite gathers! ♥ this party is by invitation only...n the invites r not on sale! =) i spent some time searching for my bling bling clutch bag so took som time to reach...judging by the look on their faces, Brian n PK were there really early manz...o.O btw, brian has many frenz who were there for this party too...cool B-)

There were quite a few different specialty Johnnie Walker cocktails being served for this party along with sumptuous finger food =) my fav cocktail from the main bar was "Red Flag", which was a Johnnie Walker cocktail with peach and grapefruit juice...i like the sweet taste...i personally find "Pit Stop" abit too strong for me...but the guys like it n they asked the bartender to make it less sweet...i wanted to try the 3rd cocktail but they ran out of cocktails close to midnight when i came out of the whisky tasting session...well, i found out tt i juz need to smile n ask the bartender politely...n there it is...the 3rd cocktail of the nite -> "Johnnie Walker Sour" ;p

There were a few exotic cocktails served inside the private dining area where the whisky tasting sessions were held =) i like "Passionate Nite" which was a Johnnie Walker cocktail with passion fruit...i cant take much coffee but the Johnnie Walker cocktail with coffee was really nice! "Smoky Johnnie" was the other cocktail served...

With Brian...was telling him tt the dress code was stylish n sophisticated...n he gave a v.candid reply tt he dunno how to be stylish...lol...

Wanted to do ceramic perm at the salon prior to attending the party but i was rejected cos my hair is too fine n weak...my natural curl is so strong tt they said doing ceramic perm wouldnt make much difference =.=" so they did scalp n hair treatment for me instead...btw, i noticed tt the "ceramic-permed" hair of the gal who sat next to me look like mine...juz tt my natural curls look far more natural...well, perhaps things do not always turn out the way we want it to be...haiz...

Had plenty of fun...wanna thank Johnnie Walker for hosting such a great f1 party! ♥

Humor Regarding Both Genders o.O

Love is...

The problems with MEN o.O"

Study hard n get good grades...so tt u can slog for others! =.="

I juz booked the air tix for our Beijing trip next yr...wanna share a joke here:

"Here is something to laugh about....
1. Women are unpredictable.
Before marriage, she expects a man.
After marriage she suspects him, and after death she respects him.
2. There was this guy who told his woman that he loved her so much that he would go thru hell for her. They got married - and now he is going thru hell.
3. A man inserted an 'ad' in the classifieds: "Wife wanted".
Next day, he received a hundred letters.
They all said the same thing: "You can have mine."
4. When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure of one thing: either the car is new or the wife.
5. It's easy to tell if a man is married or not.
Just watch him drive a car with a woman sitting beside him.
If both his hands are on the wheel, you can be sure he is married.
6. A man received a letter from some kidnappers.
The letter said, "If you don't promise to send us $100,000 I swear that we will kidnap your wife."
The poor man wrote back, "I am afraid I can't keep my promise but I hope you will keep yours."
7. "What's the matter, you look depressed."
"I'm having trouble with my wife."
"What happened?"
"She said she wasn't going to speak to me for 30 days."
"But that ought to make you happy."
"It did, but today is the last day."
8. WOMAN
When she is 18 - She is a football, 22 men going after her....
When she is 28 - She is a hockey ball, 8 men going after her.
When she is 38 - She is a golf ball, 1 man hitting on her.
When she is 48 - She is a pingpong ball, 2 men pushing to each other.
9. MAN
At 20 - A man is like a coconut, so much to offer, so little to give.
At 30 - He is like a durian, dangerous but delicious.
At 40 - He is like a watermelon, big, round and juicy.
At 50 - He is like a mandarin orange, the season comes once a year.
At 60 - He is just like a raisin, dried out, wrinkles and cheap.
10. Marriage Humour
In the beginning, God created earth and rested.
Then God created man and rested.
Then God created woman.
Since then, neither God nor man has rested."

"A foolish man tells a woman to stop talking, but a wise man tells her that her mouth is extremely beautiful when her lips are closed."

"A Woman's Prayer :

I pray for :
Wisdom, To understand a man.
Love, To forgive him.
Patience, For his moods.
Because if I pray for Strength,
I'll just beat him to death. (WAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!)"

"When you're single, people ask about boyfriend?
When you have a fiance, they ask when is the wedding?
When you get married, they ask when will you get pregnant?
When you already have one, they ask when is the little brother or sister coming along?
When you divorce they ask why?
If you try to move on, they ask why so quickly?
People will never stop asking...
If you're proud of who you are and you don't care what people think about you, Paste it on your wall because U ONLY LIVE YOUR LIFE ONCE..."

"Around the corner I HAVE A friend
In this great city that has no end,
Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,
And before I know it,a year is gone.

And I never see my old friends face,
For life is a swift and terrible race,
He knows I like him jut a well,
As in the days when I rang his bell.
And he rang mine but we were younger then,
And now we are busy tired men.
Tired of playing a foolish game,
Tired of trying to make a name.

"Tomorow" I say!"I will call on Jim
Just to show that I am thinking of him."
But tomorow comes and goes,
And distance between us grows and grows.
Around the corner,yet miles away,
"Here"s a telegram sir," Jim died today."

And that"s what we get and deserve in the end.
Around the corner,a vanished friend.

Remember to always say what you mean.
If you love someone ,tell them.

Because when you decide that it is the right time,
it might be too late..............

seize the day.Never have regrets.

And mot importantly, stay close to your friends and family,
for they have helped make you the peron that you are today."

This is sooooooooooo sweet!♥
