Tong Ji Charity Show+Sky Wu Showcase LIVE! =)

Wanna express my gratitude towards Wendy (http://piecesofsky.wordpress.com) n Huiling for making all the necessary arrangements so tt leechie could bring my leechie parents down to watch the Tong Ji Charity Show LIVE!!! my leechie dad was really excited n looking forward to watching this show! despite the relatively long waiting time to enter the studio, it was worth the wait...we really enjoyed the touching show! thx Wendy n Huiling for making this invaluable family activity possible! =) n tell me, how many ppl have watched Jackie Chan sing live? ;p btw, his donation of $100k might not appear to b tt significant when compared to his wealth...but this kind gesture shows tt he walks the talk n isnt like other celebrities who only know how to ask others to donate n donate n yet doesnt even donate a single cent outta their deep pockets -.-"

We were really touched by the moving performances of the pair of handicapped dancers from China (Ma Li n Xiao Wei if i got their names right?)! actually, i saw one of their dance performance clips previously at a seminar n i so touched tt i cried then...so it was really cool to be able to watch them perform live! B-) juz a short note abt the pair of performers...Ma Li lost her right arm in an accident when she was 19 yrs old...she was a dancer prior to tt accident...however with the support of those around her, she was able to take the stage again...Xiao Wei lost his leg when he was only 4 yrs old...they won the 2nd prize in a dancing competition...well, we should learn from them tt we shld nvr give up our dreamz!!! took some video clips of their performances...shall post them up soon when i can figure out how to properly transfer the clips from my sony ericsson vivaz pretty ruby phone to my pink lappie =)

To quote mr.steve jobs ---> "Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

Sky Wu was leechie fav singer when i was a kid...when i was in pri sch, i was so excited when i won a pair of tix to his bday celebration event n could meet him in person...i even made a card for him...n i still rem tt "Angie The Choice" was the sponsor for his bday cake...v.yummy...lol ;p leechie didnt hav a camera then...so went ovr to a photo-shop but kenna leeched by the man at tt shop who sold leechie a super exp disposable cam at a ridiculously marked up price...i guess CASE was not formed yet in those days? -.-" so it was nice to see him again...but i'm no longer a crazy Sky Wu fan these days...grown out of it...juz like how i hav grown out of alot of stuff...somtimes i dunno y i kinda lost interest in som stuff tt i used to b crazy abt...leechie was a crazy Man U fan back in JC...but i dont even watch much soccer these days -.-"

Apologies tt leechie wasn't able to capture any decent shots from Sky Wu showcase...well, leechie wasn't too v.tall to begin with n the huge crowd standing in front of me didnt help either...had to ask tt bulky bouncer who was standing in front of me to move aside n not block a leechie view a couple of times -.-" Sky kept poking fun of the DJ host...nice to hear his classic songs again =) but will upload some Sky Wu video clips from Tong Ji Charity Show when the transfer issue has been resolved ;p
