Large group rotation to facilitate interaction with many networking opportunities for you to get to know professionals from various industries. Well, for those of u who r too lazy to watch the entire 1 hr episode...i can only say tt u hav really miz out on somthg really inspiring o.O” kevin lao shi recounted this particular incident whereby his colleagues who returned from overseas asked him to go to a posh restaurant...he didnt have much cash with him n everything was so damn exp on the menu so he ordered the cheapest item on the menu...he didnt understand the english menu then n it turned out tt he had ordered the topping for ice-cream... n out of embarrassment, he excused himself to go to the toilet n didnt return...after tt incident, he was damn determined to improve his english n make alot of money!!! i guess what we can learn from his experience is tt...sometimes life has hit such a low point tt it couldnt get any worse than all the shit tt we r experiencing right now...so we gotta initiate a turnaround...it starts from us! always rem tt...what cant kill me can only make me stronger!!!
My Near-Death Experience: Juz to share my personal experience...not many ppl know this...n som ppl have always wondered y i’m so motivated once i have set my goals...they dont understand me...anyway, not many ppl understand me...som ppl thot tt they understand me...but the sad fact is they dont -.-“ anyway, back to my life story...i was pretty close to death at the age of 20...it started with a mere insect bite which got infected after i poke it...n no thx to the crappy doc who prescribed a drug tt i’m allergic to -.-“ i landed up in the hospital...fighting for my dear leechie life -.-“ sorry tt i'm not gonna reveal the name of this drug...lest someone tries to spike my drink or food -.-" no wanna disappear from the surface of this earth for no apparent reason -.-" still rem tt my blood pressure was dropping at an alarming rate then...rem all those docs n nurses fussing ovr a leechie then...but sorry to disappoint any leechie nemesis out there, my leechie will to live is juz too strong...so i survived thru this ordeal! anyway, those nurses lied to encourage me, saying tt i would leave the hospital with a brand new body n everything would b well, etc...they did a surgery for the infected area but they couldnt stitch me up cos it was due to an infection n tt operation left me with an open wound which took a long time to heal (i had to go for cleaning of the wound n change of dressing every single day after tt surgery...silly us opt for the leechy family doc instead of the foc uni nurse) -.-" n i still bear the scar today...but perhaps, it serves as a reminder as to how close i was to death then o.O i think i did come back stronger...after being so close to death...i felt i was given a 2nd shot at life again...what cant kill me can only make me stronger! perhaps, this kinda explains my fighting spirit n competitive streak after tt near-death experience! o.O
Btw, ipad has arrived on our shores n according to the doc fren whose clinic is juz above the imac appln store...the q is simply crazy @.@" no offence to all the apple fans here, but a fren was saying tt ipad is juz like a prada bag...u buy it not to use it but to carry it around n to be seen with it...lol ;p cant imagine the q when iphone 4 reaches here at the end of the month? o.O"
Update: leechie is a sad kid today...cos she has butter fingers n the jar of L'egere moisturizer tt i bot when kevin lao shi was here juz slipped off my fingers n dropped to the floor...didnt realize tt the container was made of glass until then...crapz...cant retrieve even a drop -.-" but i gotta say tt my floor is v.well-moisturized then -.-"
Btw, leechie was rather amused to meet a leechie fan this wk...lol ;p he was under the impression tt leechie is some cosplay-er! o.O well, gotta clarify tt leechie has not done any cosplay before n she doesnt walk outta a comic strip...leechie is a real person ya...i'm not perfect...in fact, i'm nowhere near perfect...i'm juz a v.ordinary person with my own insecurities n flaws o.O but i wouldnt mind dressing up as a gothic lolita if there r suitable costumes...use ur imagination ya...lol ;p hmmm, maybe i can try to organize some meet-the-fans session someday ya? lol ;p (tt's leechie A380 ego at work again ;p) btw, i have juz updated leechie fans comments on the right side of this blog...juz scroll down ya ;)

Leechie n my leechie mum just went down to Kim Robinson for haircut today...thx harper's bazaar mag =) leechie dressed as a pretty pinkie doll today ;p really love the ambience there...v.classy...two stylists stepped in, but the lady korean stylist chose me as her client first...so the other really cutie stylist trimmed my leechie mum's hair o.O well, mr.cutie did noticed a leechie n he stole glances at me again before i left...he was taking pics with his clients...lol ;p n he definitely looks much cuter than some so-called dating coach who claims to b able to charm most ladies...oops...did i say the wrong thing? but u cant trust a leechie to b politically-correct ya? ;p guess what? my leechie mum only told me later tt she saw other stylists there who r cuter than her stylist!!! crapz...n she didnt ask me to see!!! -.-" leechie wanna see cute guys!!! lol ;p the neck massage during the shampoo was damn good...so good tt it cured me of a neckache tt i had for the past wk manz...it was really relaxing manz =) btw, we really feel v.pampered at kim robinson...lurve the chandelier lights n specialty drinks there =) it's the first time tt i hav a korean stylist trim my leechie hair...well, no offence, leechie still prefers jap style o.O anyway, i'm returning there in 14days' time to let her check on my leechie hair o.O but i guess i would opt for the really cutie stylist the next time...keke ;p received some requests for my before-and-after haircut pics...check out the pics posted below...maybe i shall add more pics after the checkup in 14days' time? stay tuned ya ;p

Taiwanese celebrity Makeup Artist Kevin Lao Shi was in town recently to promote L'egere range of skincare n cosmetics...n leechie was there to catch Kevin lao shi in action...my leechie mum was really amused when i told her tt leechie was going to meet kevin lao shi...she was amused by the "lao shi" part n wondered what kinda "lao shi" he is o.O i was really late on fri...so by the time i reached marina sq, kevin lao shi was gone! =( was late again on sat for his session at plaza sing...but got to watch him from a short distance...pop ovr to see him at causeway point again on sun (ya, leechie was late again)...the session at causeway point was special, he came down to the products section to play consultant (they called it "dian zhang") for more than half an hour after his stage session...n he autographed books n took pics with us after tt ;p the second model really looked v.diff after kevin lao shi performed his magic on her! @.@" she was rather dull-looking before the makeover...but a really dramatic change with all the falsie eyelashes n eye makeup manz! @.@"
Saw KEVIN's poster pic prior to meeting him in person n thot tt he looks pic perfect *drools* no offence, i'm sorry but i gotta admit tt i was a little bit disappointed when i saw him in real person yest n today...he looks rather tanned (someone told me tt he juz returned from hawaii) n his laugh lines look obvious o.O" other than tt, he still looks good...he has v.beautiful n expressive eyes =) check out the pics above ;p i got a set of his books autographed (he wrote my "leechie" name n also signed "bigkiss" there...keke ;p) n took pics with him ;p (gotta thx the 2 lovely gals for helping me take the pics n sending them to a leechie =)) but i like what he wore at plaza sing yest...pink top with d'squared jeans...cool B-) this afternoon, he was in white shirt n blue vest with a couple of buttons undone...such tt those who were standing rather close (n tt included a leechie ;p) could actually see his chest hair peeking out from underneath his shirt o.O" the first impression tt he gave me was tt he's really stylish n really knows how to dress...well, this silly leechie only found out later tt kevin lao shi is a stylist *blush blush* hmmm, he was really warm at the consultation session today...no airs at all o.O n he's really v.popular with alot of obasans there! ;p he gave some really useful makeup tips =) n asked me not to use so muchie bling bling eyeshadows which tend to make my leechie eyes look more puffy n how to draw eyeliner more properly (i'm still trying to figure this out o.O)...actually, i couldnt really understand some of the terms tt he used (he spoke chinese n i couldnt understand many of the technical terms in chinese...i dont even know how to say gel eyeliner n liquid eyeliner in chinese -.-") btw, leechie bot alot of the l'egere products tt he was promoting...some bb cream powder n cool hydro powder (really cool to touch when he put some on my leechie hand o.O) n ice cool toner n moisturizer n vit B moisturizer n pore concealer...spent >$150 there :-X
I was told tt his books r really v.helpful but both of his books r in entirely chinese -.-" well, it doesnt matter tt a leechie cant read muchie chinese...i can always look at the pics in his books ya ;p (self-consolation -.-") hopefully i can figure out all the makeup steps juz from looking at the pics -.-" flipped thru his 2 books n looked at the pics...i gotta say tt i'm impressed...the ladies featured in the 2 books looked so different after kevin lao shi did makeover on them! @.@"
Btw, kevin lao shi said tt the ladies in japan touch up their makeup every hour! gosh...no wonder most of them always look so picture perfect o.O" learnt an useful tip from him on how to determine ur skin tone (warm or cool)...think abt how u look with the various colors...if u look better in black or blue clothings...then u have cool tone (think of a leechie ;p) n if u look better in orange or yellow clothes, then u have warm tone (no wonder i always cant carry off orange n i avoid orange color like plague -.-")
Found out tt kevin lao shi has his own beautymaker cosmetics line and vinvin skincare line (inspired from his name ke-vin i guess, so vinvin ;p) n i've placed order for alot of items from the beautymaker n vinvin lines...so shall review when the items reach me! ;p btw, i cant read too muchie chinese n have great difficulty navigating his products webby @.@" so had to get alot of help with the translation before i could figure out which r the items tt i wanna get! @.@"

Brought my parents for dinner at Spring Court for early Fathers' day...well, i didnt know abt this restaurant...but my leechie dad insisted on going there n he had the fathers' day set dinner which included "buddha over the wall" o.O the food's nice but servings were less than generous...so went back n had a joo chiat dumpling...keke ;p hapi dumpling fest in advance! =)
Update: leechie went down to loreal sales n stage moving out sale n luxasia sales today...spent abt $400 at the loreal sales...gosh...but there were so muchie keratase n redken n loreal professionel hair products there on sale! btw, for those not in the know, many tai tais swear by the brand keratase ;p the Redken product mgr was really nice =) n the keratase staff gave detailed explanation on their various products (so many different ranges of keratase products there tt it's really mind-boggling @.@") n useful advice...also learnt a trade-secret trick tt the salons use...keke ;p the keratase lady did product demo on my leechie hair too =) bot alot of nail polishes n blushers n eye pencils (was told tt it's their star product o.O) n other base makeup stuff from the stage moving out sale at ion (abt $120)...but was less than impressed with the pushy n bossy SA...esp with the way tt she spoke to a poor gal who had her makeover appointment cancelled at the v.last min n she was due to make a presentation this aftn...if i were tt gal, i would write in to the head office n give them a piece of my mind! sometimes some ppl may juz mistake ur nice-ness for weakness n try to bully u! -.-" n this SA asked me to screw this n tt cap tight tight n instructed me this n tt...until i told her point blank tt i'm NOT the SA there -.-" got some stuff from the luxasia sales too...a nice SA took out some rare Guerlain item for me cos there wasnt any tester n it was the last piece ;p btw, i saw tt less-than-hyigenic luxasia male staff who previously handled my Guerlain powder foundation with his bare hands there as well...crapz -.-"
Received 3 kate spade bags today (1 is meant for my leechie mum) but i ordered another 3 more kate spade bags today...gosh...think my shopping habit is really scarry @.@" really thx geraldine for coming ovr to personally deliver my loots =) i really like my navy renwick street annabel bag (i also have a matching pouch in the same design n color ;p)...feel tt it's juz so casual n light n so me ;p carried this bag for the first time n such coincidence tt i saw a nurse carrying the exact same bag as me this morning o.O" i bot another renwick street anabel in noel prints with pink n green stripes n a bon shopper with big pink ribbon...also bot a bling bling small bag n ordered another big bling bling gold bag with the same prints as well together with another small black bag...gosh, i started with zero Kate Spade bags 1 month back...n now i have 6 n another 2 more to be collected...n i've been elevated to VIP status by Gigi...lol ;p btw, i bot another 2 more miss marc bags recently...i like miss marc...she's so cute n random...abit like leechie...keke ;p

Finally managed to book an appointment to trim my leechie fringe...when i reached the salon, my stylist was still bz n asked me to return in 10min's time...leechie walked around n bot a cutie hello kitty tee in less than 10mins...went back to the salon n waited for him to finish up the lady b4 me...think i waited for half an hour juz for my turn -.-" leechie doesnt fancy waiting ler...damn sianz -.-" then i had my fringe trimmed in almost complete silence until the Q&A session at the end...btw, i used my super dolly mascara today n it really coats my lashes well n makes it look dolly ;p my cutie stylist kept combing thru my lashes juz nw -.-" good thing tt my lashes r real n not some fako lashes...otherwise, the eyelashes might juz drop out -.-" to my pleasant surprise, the super dolly mascara can hold up my lashes pretty well n withstand his combing thru! ;p i was quite amused...told my leechie mum tt i was there to trim my fringe n not my lashes...was surprised tt he actually combed thru my lashes as well...lol ;p my fringe is becoming v.unruly n it seems to b damn difficult to get a dolly horizontal line...haiz...i keep getting som parts which stick out here n there...but he said tt it's due to my hair texture n he cant trim away all those parts tt r sticking out at the ends otherwise the density of my fringe would b compromised...n said tt those actresses' hair only looked picture-perfect for tt particular instant when the pic was taken n tt their fringe aint exactly horizontal on tv...haiz -.-" but i noticed tt vivian lai has v.straight horizontal dolly fringe ler...my leechie mum is of the opinion tt she has naturally straight hair so it's obviously easier for her to maintain her horizontal dolly fringe o.O" think i asked too muchie questions ler...but i have so muchie probs with my leechie hair mah...haiz...then mr.stylist said tt another customer was waiting for him n thanked me for coming -.-" i'm still annoyed tt i cant get my fringe into a straight horizontal line...my hair keeps curling in all different directions de...think i need to rebond my fringe soon...haiz -.-"

Guess what? the v.minute the door bitch heard my name juz nw, she stopped me from entering, claiming tt i wasnt dressed to the theme of "Sex n the city"! it was the 1st time tt i was stopped at a club! -.-" juz bcos i wasnt in a dress so i'm perceived not to b dressed appropriately? tt juz goes to show how shallow som bimbo with fako blonde hair is! -.-" (looks like the fako blonde hair aint the only fako thing on her -.-") apparently she didnt know tt leechie is a member at the club n of course there's this thing known as members' access! -.-" when i got in thru the members' q, i saw tons of ppl there...including som fat slobs wearing som costume-lookalike trying to look glam...so tt's called dressed to the theme eh? -.-"
GSS has not even started officially yet...but there r sooooooooooooo many sales manz @.@" i think leechie muz b mad...spent >$500 on cosmetics today...went to Shiseido's private sale...lotsa good deals there manz!!! many of the shiseido staff there r v.nice...a nice Shiseido lady there even went outta her way to help me get the stuff tt i wanted n do color-matching for me manz! Well done, Shiseido! =) n i aso bot 6 pairs of shoes today manz...wont b surprised if more sales assistants start to recognize a leechie in the streets manz -.-"
Guess what? juz found out tt a leechie actually looks like a former marketing staff from coach when this staff commented abt me to the coach marketing mgr when i was making payment juz nw! @.@" haiz...i shld hav been more chummy with them n said tt i'm the sister or somthg ya...lol ;p then maybe can get special discount or somthg? ;p apparently this lady noticed a leechie n when i was chatting with the mkting mgr n making payment...she came ovr n commented on how i look like one of his former marketing staff! o.O" btw, i managed to buy the coach poppy bag tt many ladies were fighting ovr! cos there's this nice auntie n uncle couple who decided tt there's abit of tiny defect on the strap n gave it up to a leechie...then a few other ladies there were eyeing this v.last piece tt i was holding onto...a lady even sent her pri sch kid son ovr to ask me a few times! o.O"

Gosh...i'm really glad tt i managed to get a fren to help me place order for 3 Kate Spade bags (juz in time for the sales...without her, i think i would most probably miz out on this sale...thx lots Geraldine =)) i ordered 2 bags for myself n 1 for my leechie mum (she actually wanted a leather one but due to delays here n there, the leather one is sold out so i got her the one with the classic Kate Spade Noel prints instead o.O) i ordered the renwick street anabel bag to match the renwick anabel pouch tt juz arrived today (both in matching navy color ;p) besides these bags, i got the coach poppy "OP ART GLAM" bag in glam glam gold color last thurs...n 1 prada evening satin bag n 1 prada wristlet (both online) n i also bot 2 marc by marc jacobs bags n 1 marc by marc jacobs pouch n 1 coach black wristlet...all within the last 1 or 2 months...n the thing is...i havent used any of them yet...juz took them out once in a while to admire...then put back...lol ;p
German sup announced this morn tt he'll b leaving for france later tonite...so leechie asked if he could pack me into his suitcase...n he was like "my wife wouldn't b happy if she found out tt i had packed another woman into my luggage" so there goes my chance of flying in a suitcase -.-" haiz...n there goes my chance of shopping in Paris >.<
