Took these shots in nov...the tangs area was crowded even late at nite on a wkday...was waiting for the crowd to b lesser before i took those shots...my fren, whose clinic is right in the heart of orchard road, was complaining abt the traffic conditions even during wkday nites o.O" well, Tangs Xmas deco is one of leechie favs this year...v.bling bling ;p the bling-bling Xmas tree sponsored by Soo Kee at Parco looks nice too =) honestly, leechie doesn't really fancy walking alone along orchard road during such festive season...feelings of loneliness n emptiness creep in v.easily...haiz -.-"

Kanebo Private Sales: from 9-16 Dec (they carry leechie fav brand Lunasol as well as Coffret D'or cosmetics n skincare)
Shiseido Private Sales: from 10-11 Dec (they carry high end range such as Cle de Peau Beaute as well as the usual counter brands such as Shiseido n Maquillage n Ettusais n also drugstore brands like ZA n Majolica Majorca n Shiseido Professional haircare range)
Spent >$700 at the Kanebo private sale...bot 3 eyeshadow palettes (damn rare at this private sale...but of course i hav my leechie means of getting them ;p), cheek brush, shining powder (i grabbed all 3 pieces avail ;p), 3 blushers, pressed powder, foundation, eyeliner (both the posh pen n pencil types), undereye base, lipsticks, lipgloss n morning massage gel from Lunasol (one of leechie fav jap brands) as well as a few Coffret D'or eye palettes, eyeliner n foundation...n tons of other skincare from some high-end Kanebo ranges...juz wanna try out how high-end their high-end skincare ranges are ;p...well, got an Impress powder foundation as well...gotta say tt i'm impressed with how fine their powder is...hmmm, the price tag is equally impressive ;p leechie aint a fan of drugstore brand Kate...so i put back the 2 Kate eye palettes tt i was holding...o.O" went back to the Kanebo sales a few times n ended up getting more n more stuff...n leechie ended up with more scolding from my leechie mum as well...she was extremely sarcastic...asking me if i'm going to b som makeup artist...perhaps she doesn't know abt how famous n well-to-do som celebrity makeup artists r -.-" (sorry guys...no intention to bore u with the details...but i guess leechie gets abit too carried away with her haul from the sales ;p)
Shiseido private sale was super packed manz! could hardly squeeze to the front to try out the colors -.-" saw this pregnant lady squeezing here n there...i fear for her safety manz...rem seeing another pregnant lady squeezing around at the sale last year too o.O" anyway, leechie bot 6 Maquillage eye palettes (v.gd deal) and a few eyeshadow singles plus a few other cosmetics items...total damage came up to abt $500 o.O" the Cle de Peau Beaute loose powder was really good deal...got 2 before they were snapped up...but too bad that they ran out of fairer shades for the foundation...so couldn't get any...well, there's always next year ya =) btw, they were selling their Cult "la cream" there at reduced price...heard tt it's retailing at abt $800+ at their counters...didn't get tt...cos leechie is trying to finish up my tons of moisturizers at home...lol ;p bot a shiseido foundation for my leechie mum...she was with her fren when i called...well, she told her fren what i bot for her...n her fren really sounded like sour grapes ;p then leechie pop by Lunasol counter to collect my "Dazzling Nite" eyeshadow palette from Fall 2009 collection which juz arrived from japan =)
Juz realized tt there's a clearance YSL sale at Isetan...knew abt it too late manz...no more YSL loose powder for a leechie ler...crapz -.-" so i only got an eye palette n powder foundation refill...btw, anybody who wanna head down to Isetan...beware of the stuck-up YSL sales assistants there -.-" these snobbish YSL sales assistants seemed to derive joy from looking down at ppl n liked to apply their "r u sure u can afford YSL?" look at a leechie, who was dressed rather casually, n looks like a student -.-" let's face the reality...Luxasia had decided to pull YSL outta Singapore...for reasons best known to themselves o.O"
Leechie also bot a really cute hello kitty tote bag (from Sanrio...no less ;p) n again, the sales assistant thot tt leechie is a student who wanna use the hello kitty tote bag as a school bag o.O" saw pretty bling bling hello kitty watches...but my leechie mum thinks tt it's super duper childish to wear hello kitty watches -.-" well, ppl r already laughing at my pink Baby-G watch o.O" btw, u can order customized pretty hello kitty bling bling mirror for abt $200...yup, there aint a typo...the hello kitty mirrors r going for $200 each!!! @.@" juz realized tt there is some purchase with purchase promo at the Sanrio section...y didn't those 2 sales assistants tell a leechie anythg abt it??? -.-" their hello kitty charms r sooooooo pretty n leechie no hav =(
Saw a few guys accompanying their gfs to the private sales...so sweet...leechie envies those gals...not tt many patient guys around...esp when those q can b horribly long...n time spent in juz the q alone can go up to a few hours...so sweet...i can safely bet tt if my leechie dad (man of almost zero patience) were to see a leechie in the looooooooooooooooooooooooooong q, he will juz tell me to put back everythg n juz go to the counters to buy whatever crap tt i want! -.-" btw, heard tt there were many ppl queuing ovrnite to buy iphones again...singaporeans simply lurrrrrve to q eh? ;p
Btw, my dear leechie pretty pink mobile phone is only 4 months old...but it's giving leechie probs ler...it's attempting to perform som auto-shutdown stunts manz -.-" crapz...leechie aint impressed! my leechie mum is of the opinion tt i hav ovrworked my phone n it's trying to get my attention -.-" btw, noticed tt a few pretty gals aso use the same pretty pink mobile phone as a leechie...keke ;p
