~*~ Balaclava Ion Launch Party ~*~

Leechie was v.excited to attend Balaclava Ion launch party =) thx the lovely ladies at L'Officiel mag for organizing this cool event B-) this was my first time at Balaclava Ion...i lurve the classy ambience here...v.different from its previous location at suntec...they have a v.cool bar concept here...there's a row of steps leading to the 2nd level of the bar...n from there, one would be able to get a pretty good view of the entire Balaclava =)

Leechie fav lychee martini was on the house...pleasant surprise to see tt their lychee martini was served with 2 lychees each =) had some red wine which kinda helped to clear up my cough...i know this sounds ridiculous...but red wine always helps to improve my cough...perhaps, i'm juz abit different...lol ;p anyway, most cough mixtures contain alcohol too...noticed tt they serve Johnnie Walker blue label here too o.O well, tried the blue label on the rocks for the first time...it tasted v.smooth n sweet...nice =) tried the gold label too...but prefers the blue label...but after i bottoms up a blue label on the rocks, i felt abit too overwhelmed...abit too strong for me x.X" learnt tt the blue label is the most premium Johnnie Walker (think a bottle of blue label has a price tag of $600+?)...followed by the gold label o.O was told tt the blue label wont cause nasty hangovers o.O" but after a while, the effects of all the drinks (all the lychee martinis, red wine, blue label, gold label...) started to kick in...esp after all the drama n trauma earlier in the day @.@" besides drinks, Balaclava serves pretty tasty food too =)

Harn disappeared fast again...as usual...perhaps to meet one of her bfs? lol ;p but gotta thx gal pals Jessica n lp for keeping leechie company...i was pretty late cos had to rush over after my day at Universal Studios...my leechie mum used to wonder why i have such a crazy schedule...but i gotta say...leechie aint a party animal but i subscribe to the popular saying "work hard, play hard" ;p there r many things tt u dont know abt a leechie underneath that apparently hedonistic lifestyle...to quote my cousin "You know my name, not my story. You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through" ;p btw, dont call me high-maintenance too...leechie juz happens to have refined taste ;p

Met the lovely ladies at L'Officiel mag...thx them once again for introducing us to this chic hangout place =) n we left with lovely goodie bags too =)

Think i zzz donkey hours today manz x.X" saw poor Man U being beaten by City via v.poor streaming...i couldnt even see the goal =( but saw how Scholes got sent off...he went in with his studs showing =.=" watching the real madrid vs barca matchie now ;p saw Messi score a penalty for barca n Ronaldo equalized for Real with another penalty...v.exciting finish to the matchie! o.O footie weekend...the arsenal vs pool matchie was a boring one except for the 2 penalties =.=" btw, tt referee muz be wearing a mickey mouse watch (perhaps lent to him by fergie? ;p) cos the match was supposed to end in 98min n yet the equalizer came in 101min =.=" tt's y this is called football...lol ;p

Hmmm...some fb frenz were rather surprised to learn tt leechie appreciates football...of course leechie knows her footie stuff well...i was a super duper big soccer fan way back in high school ;p oh ya, i can explain offside to u manz =.="

Juz saw the pic of a male mediacorp artiste posing with a kate spade box...lol...leechie wanna pose with a kate spade box too...anyone wanna lend me one? ;p OMG...guess what? harn is standing as a candidate in a GRC!!! i was pretty shocked when i received the sms from her! should i ask her to pose with a kate spade box? ;p well, she says she will pose with a kate spade box if u guys make a donation...lol ;p btw, i gotta clarify tt this aint a political blog n leechie aint into politics...so i'm most definitely not affliated with any political party...i'm helping harn post this cos she's a personal friend...so it's definitely not an inducement for anyone to vote for any particular party! leechie is purely capitalistic...far from political...so i prefer to be affliated with $$$ instead ;p

I was really surprised when i went to buy food at a new place today...that the china aunty working there who hasnt seen a leechie for donkey years could still recognize me! it really warms my leechie heart to know tt =) but tt 15 year old "angry birds fan" boy thought tt my rosy cheeks reminded him of longevity peach buns...he's abit too hungry eh? =.="
