9 Dating Red Flags
I arrived during the lunch break of the wealth expo...so popped over to Joey Yap's booth...Joey alrdy went back to KL but his assistants were still around...i showed one of them my bazi chart...i was quite amused with one of his comments abt how i could have many boyfriends! lol...i might occasionally b surrounded by many guys but i dont have many boyfriends! Well, if i dont even have a single boyfriend to begin with, then how do i end up with many boyfriends? lol ;p
Anyway, some guys not only like girls...they like a lot of girls =.= Y r some guys so greedy? Some guys will nvr b satisfied with only one lady! To them, it's more of a case of "the more, the merrier"! =.=

"9 Dating Red Flags
Don't continue to date him if he does any of these...
He may seem like the perfect date. At first. But when the beer goggles wear off, turns out Prince Charming isn't so charming after all. If you see any of these dating red flags, think twice about letting yourself get too into him. He's not The One if...
1. It's all about him
It takes two to tango; it's the same way for convos. If he's literally monopolizing the talk and bragging how he's been there and done that, chances are that any relationship that you would have will be completely one-sided. Yes, he may be rattling on about his fascinating life story to impress you, but point is, he doesn't even bother to get to know you. That's not going to change.
2. He's distracted
This guy is perpetually connected. Throughout the date, he alternates his attention between you and his Blackberry, and that stupid Bluetooth never leaves his ear. Clearly, he doesn't have the courtesy to give you his undivided attention. Clearly, you should just disconnect him -- from your life.
3. He's a whiner
You barely went out together a couple of times, and he's already pouring out his sob stories to you? Red flag! Do you really want to hang out with a depressing bloke who's constantly ranting about his boss, talking bad about his ex and griping about life? Watch out -- if he badmouths an ex, he can badmouth you, too.
4. He's too vain
Just because he's good-looking, wears designer shirts, sports a Rolex, and has an expensive ride doesn't mean he is a good catch. Don't be fooled by his outward appearance -- all the blings he's flaunting only shows how frivolous he is with money. If he squanders his paycheck to feed his vanity, don't expect him to have any savings for the future. Remember, a man who is overly obsessed with himself and his material things has no room to value you.
5. He expects you to pay
Etiquette 101: It's chivalrous for a man to pay on the first date -- or at least go Dutch. If he's unwilling to flash his own cash but expects you to pick up the tab, he's either really stingy or really broke. And both aren't good signs.
6. He ogles at other women
Checking out other ladies while he's out with you is enough to send the alarm bells ringing, but if he goes even further and starts flirting with them, don't stick around to find out whether he gets lucky. A date who is keeping his options open and blatantly doing it in your face has zero respect for women. Even if you become his girlfriend, don't be surprised if he's not interested in being exclusive. Do yourself a favor and drop this creep like a ton of bricks.
7. He's pushing you to go further
Whether he expects you to sleep with him before you're ready or he's trying to up the commitment stakes way before it's acceptable, any guy who's making you feel this uncomfortable clearly doesn't respect your feelings.
8. He makes all the decisions for you
He calls the shots on what to do, where to go, what movies to watch on dates. He even tells the waiter "we'll have two steaks, medium rare" -- without consulting you. These are all signs that he's got a controlling nature. If he wants to take charge all the time, think twice about getting involved -- especially if you value your independence.
9. He asks you out last minute
Be careful if he calls you for a get-together on the day itself, or a day before. You aren't a priority if you aren't on his calendar at least several days beforehand. If he really respects you, he'll arrange a date several days in advance. Don't put up with it. You're not some last-resort option just because he's got nothing better to do for the evening."

An interesting article on yahoo (http://sg.news.yahoo.com/photos/6-mistakes-men-always-make-in-a-relationship-slideshow/relationship-photo-1346645133.html#crsl=%252Fphotos%252F6-mistakes-men-always-make-in-a-relationship-slideshow%252Frelationship-photo-1346645133.html)
"6 Mistakes men always make in a relationship
As men, we are prone to committing some typical relationship blunders. This might seem like a very generalist statement to make but some degree of stupidity is coded in our DNA, particularly when it comes to handling women. Most of us don’t even realize that some seemingly trivial mannerisms of ours can weaken our relationships. So, ditch your ego for a few minutes and read ahead about the kind of relationship mistakes most of us are prone to making:
1. Making her feel jealous or insecure
You might talk about your ex-girlfriends or women colleagues who hit upon you to be honest but this can often induce a sense of insecurity within your girlfriend. To a certain extent, talking about such things isn't damaging. In fact, it represents you as a wanted man who is quite appreciated by the fairer sex. But beyond a certain point, it can make her jealous. She could start questioning the shelf-life of your relationship, considering you are almost always being lured by other women. Similarly, being too honest about any of her friends isn't the best thing to do. Be restrained in your poetic description of how good a dress looks on a party-scorcher. Similarly, glancing at other women in her presence will only make it more obvious that you have a roving eye and aren't the dependable type.
2. Not talking to her
This isn't about the daily chit-chat where you take an update about each other’s daily schedule or how things are progressing at the office. This is about having a heart-to-heart conversation where you should seem eager to hear her opinion. Most girls complain about their boyfriends being indifferent to their outlook. This can wedge a gap between you two. You need to be a good listener first to talk in a way that makes her feel connected. Sounding or looking bored when having a conversation with her is also a clear give-away that your mindsets don’t really match.
3. Letting it get regular
Women like to be surprised but men are by nature predictable and like to follow routines. Apart from a few, truly adventurous men, most of us are happy to visit the same hang-out zones and eateries, as if we are seeking some sort of safety. This mundane outlook can soon infect a woman’s mind like a virus, making her feel suffocated. This is why most women start looking-out even when committed in a relationship. Most of us are guilty of letting that surprise factor fade away and that includes the bedroom. A man with some degree of mystique has a greater chance of keep a relationship thriving and not just, alive.
4. Using selfish sex as a solution for everything
Yes, this is something that most guys would agree. We do tend to believe that as long as we are good in the bed or loaded with cash, any relationship problem will self-resolve. However, apart from a few insecure and really vulnerable women, this isn't the truth. If your lady is honestly in love with you, she will seek that soulful connection when having sex. When we try to use sex as a tool to solve problems, it becomes mechanical rather than being pleasurable. Further, many guys are clueless regarding what their women want in bed or they just don’t want to find out. Such a selfish bedroom perspective can be very damaging to a relationship.
5. Not making her feel special
Not complimenting her occasionally or gifting her besides the anniversaries, birthdays and Valentine’s Day celebrations makes it obvious that you appreciate her only for the sake of following traditions. Try to compliment her for the smallest things like the way she sips her tea or curls up her nose when angry.
6. Repeating the same mistakes
This is the last and perhaps, the most common relationship mistakes that men make, i.e. even after realizing the mistakes, they tend to repeat them! This can simply drive her crazy or make her feel helpless, stuck with a man who doesn’t give a damn about her. This could be the real ship-sinker for any relationship."

Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal
Brought my mum to the Andy Warhol exhibition.
Some quotes from Andy Warhol:
"Even beauties can b unattractive. If u catch a beauty in the wrong light at the right time, forget it. I believe in low lights and trick mirrors. I believe in plastic surgery."
"They always say that time changes things , but u actually have to change them yourself"
"When I die. I'd like to disappear. Ppl wouldn't say he died today, they'd say he disappeared. But I do like the idea of ppl turning into sand, and it would b v. Glamorous to b reincarnated as a big ring on Elizabeth Taylor's finger"
Andy Warhol rocks!!
“Bianca Jagger is one of the most Socially Diseased people I know. She’s almost as bad as me – and I’m terminal"
Someone said to me: "U always have something to say abt everything. It's u now. Many times it's sufficient without the need of an opinion" Sometimes, one's environment can shape one's behavior. When one grows up in a society whereby people are expected to conform instead of thinking for themselves...n where opinions are not encouraged...perhaps agreeable sweet young things who lack an opinion on anything are more favored in such societies?
N i googled n found more interesting quotes from Andy Warhol:
"Being good in business is the most fascinating kind of art. Making money is art and working is art and good business is the best art."
"Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes."
"I'm bored with that line. I never use it anymore. My new line is "In 15 minutes everybody will be famous."
"I have Social Disease. I have to go out every night. If I stay home one night I start spreading rumors to my dogs."
"People need to be made more aware of the need to work at learning how to live because life is so quick and sometimes it goes away too quickly."
Read more at http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/a/andy_warhol.html
They didnt allow me to take any pics at the exhibition so i took a pic of the stool at the lobby
After queuing for more than 20mins, we finally got our tix!
Rem to go spend 15min with Andy Warhol before this exhibition is gone!
Btw, this is my Andy Warhol bag from my huge personal collection of bags...v.cute ya? ;p it's still brand new...someone was trying to buy it from me...let's juz put it this way...i wont b letting go of this bag unless i receive a tempting offer ;p

Women You Should Never Date o.O
Came across this interesting article on yahoo...(http://sg.entertainment.yahoo.com/news/women-date-045600033.html)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Women You Should Never Date
This article describes women with certain character traits that a man should stay …
Gentlemen this article is one you should take a print out of and carry in your pocket at all times simply because it will give you a very vivid picture of the kind of women you MUST NOT DATE. I am sure at some stage in your life you must have fallen for the wrong girl and then shed many-a-tear over her. In case you have been lucky and escaped such trauma, congratulations! But don’t get over-confident because s**t can hit the fan anytime.
You must keep the distance if and when you come across women with traits as described below.
1. The Nagger
Most men complain that all women nag. Firstly, not all women nag. Secondly, nagging to a certain extent is fine. It becomes a problem when it exceeds that certain limit. If she is constantly on your case and is not letting you be then you should decamp asap. She is your girlfriend and not your school teacher to nag you at every opportunity that presents itself. And if she can’t help but be that crazy teacher, you should at least help yourself by not being with her.
2. The Possessive / Obsessive Stalker
She calls you every two hours? She messages you every half an hour? She gets upset the moment you look at another woman and throws a fit when you talk to another lady? She likes it when you wear her favourite colours but feels sad when you wear one that she doesn’t like?
If the answer to the above questions is a yes then you NEED to NOT see her ever again. Some women get possessive and obsessive to the point that they suffocate you and thus stunt your growth as a human being. You cannot and should not become her shadow or a person of her liking alone. Protect your identity and guard your self-respect by giving her the boot.
3. The Attention Seeker
All women like to get as much attention as possible from their man. But some women make a nasty habit out of it. They will be on their best behaviour as long as they are the centre of attraction and will totally flip the moment the attention shifts. Let’s be practical. It is wrong of your girlfriend to want to be the centre of your life for an indefinite period of time. After all you have friends, family, work which deserve your attention as well. As soon as you realise she is asking way too much of your time and that she is crawling into your personal space ask her to back off. If the problem persists after repeated warnings it is advisable for you to back off.
4. The Emotional Wreck
While men love to be the hero in a girl’s life please avoid playing hero in the life of a damsel in distress. It is romantic to think that your love will bring her out of her misery and she will see the good you did for her and so be yours forever. Yes, your love will help her get emotionally better but that does not mean she is going to fall for you. Falling for an emotional wreck will drain you emotionally and you might not get much in return.
5. The Material Girl
This one is pretty simple. If she is only after your money then she is no good. She will distance herself from you when she finds a more affluent man or when your pocket strength weakens. Building emotional ties with her is futile and so is expecting a steady stable relationship. (Dating, MensXP.com)

Product Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil and Pore Minimiser
Went down to Cozycot store to collect these 2 popular The Body Shop items from their Tea Tree range for review...my face have been suffering from congested pores n breakouts due to my travelling schedule n the polluted air in those cities that i've visited recently...n my prob becomes more serious when it comes to that time of the month...haiz =.=
The Body Shop tea tree oil contains 15% of tea tree oil...n it's a top-selling product at their retail stores! I applied the tea tree oil overnight on my pimples n badly congested pores for a couple of nights...n these pimples appeared to be smaller (less angry i guess) =) n i was surprised that the huge clog which has been hanging out on my chin for donkey moons became abit smaller...maybe i need a plumber to clear the clog? o.O this tea tree oil is an antiseptic n is relatively good as a spot treatment for pimples...
The pore minimiser is a new product from their tea tree range. I applied the pore minimiser after my usual serums (kiasu me use quite a few other serums)...the texture is light with a refreshing feel n it has a mattifying effect...pretty good for the hot summer days that we r currently facing on this little red dot o.O i used this to prep my skin before slapping on my sunblock n makeup base as usual...n to my pleasant surprise, my mineral foundation (also from The Body Shop) can actually last longer in this "hot, hotter, hottest" weather o.O
Thanks Cozycot for inviting leechie to do this product review =)
"This top-selling tea tree oil contains 15% of tea tree oil. After applying it overnight on my pimples and badly congested pores for a few nights, my pimples shrank in size and the huge clog which has been hanging out on my chin for donkey moons became a bit smaller!"
Btw, I also popped by The Body Shop Warehouse Sale nearby...i tried their blue corn mask n thought it was pretty good for my overzealous oil glands...so returned to pick up a few other pieces to stock up...their scrubs smell pretty good too...noob me was quite amused with all the different textures n scents...was told that those with gel texture would be more suitable for my oily skin...i picked up the passion fruit n cranberry n jolly orange ones (was told that cranberry n jolly orange were limited editions n no longer available at the retail stores...n i'm such a sucker for "limited editions") o.O they were clearing their mineral powder foundation at really attractive prices so i picked up 2 more pieces to stock up...i'm using their mineral powder foundation these days cos the weather is really hot n humid n alot of other foundations have the tendency to melt n slide off my oily leechie face with great ease =.=

Share The Taxi Ride...
Juz wanna share this touching story from nmk...tears streamed down my face as i read this:

The
Cab Ride
I arrived at the address and honked the horn. After waiting a few minutes I walked to the door and knocked.. 'Just a minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.
After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 90's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940's movie.
By her side was a small nylon suitcase. The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years. All the furniture was covered with sheets.
There were no clocks on the walls, no knickknacks or utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard box filled with photos and glassware..
'Would you carry my bag out to the car?' she said. I took the suitcase to the cab, then returned to assist the woman.
She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb.
She kept thanking me for my kindness. 'It's nothing', I told her.. 'I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother to be treated.'
'Oh, you're such a good boy, she said. When we got in the cab, she gave me an address and then asked, 'Could you drive through downtown?'
'It's not the shortest way,' I answered quickly..
'Oh, I don't mind,' she said. 'I'm in no hurry. I'm on my way to a
hospice.
I looked in the rear-view mirror. Her eyes were glistening. 'I don't have any family left,' she continued in a soft voice.. 'The doctor says I don't have very long.' I quietly reached over and shut off the
meter.
'What route would you like me to take?' I asked.
For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked as an elevator operator.
We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when they were newlyweds She had me pull up in
front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl.
Sometimes she'd ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.
As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she suddenly said, 'I'm tired. Let's go now'.
We drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a low building, like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico.
Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up. They were solicitous and intent, watching her every move. They must have been expecting her.
I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was already seated in a wheelchair.
'How much do I owe you?' She asked, reaching into her purse.
'Nothing,' I said
'You have to make a living,' she answered.
'There are other passengers,' I responded.
Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly.
'You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,' she said 'Thank you.'
I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning light.. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life..
I didn't pick up any more passengers that shift. I drove aimlessly lost in thought. For the rest of that day, I could hardly talk. What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient
to end his shift? What if I had refused to take the run, or had honked once, then driven away?
On a quick review, I don't think that I have done anything more important in my life.
We're conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments.
But great moments often catch us unaware-beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one.
PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID ~BUT~THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL
You won't get any big surprise in 10 days if you share this to ten people. But, you might help make the world a little kinder and more compassionate by sending it on and reminding us that often it is the random acts of kindness that most benefit all of us.
Thank you, my friend...
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance."

Without any warning, the yoga master stepped on my back so I squeaked like a leech. Then he tried to stuff towel into my mouth to quieten a leech =.=
Actually that yoga master is v. Smart. He stepped on me first so I couldn't move away. If I were to see him step on others first, then I would have sat up straightaway n won't give him the chance to step on me =.= it's normal human reaction to flee from pain
The shuai shuai yoga instructor tried to help me into the "plume" pose. He asked if i cannot, dunno or too scared. I replied abit of all. He said can only choose one. lol
Juz now the yoga instructor asked me to do the fish pose. But I was too tired. Then he asked where is the fish? So I replied the fish drowned. I thought there wouldnt b any need to do the pose if i said the fish drowned. But i couldnt escape n he came over to help me into the fish pose. He said I looked like a sotong instead of a fish =.=
The yoga master looks at me n says too much fat! So I asked how to lose fat? He said there r 3things u can do to lose fat! 1st:no breakfast 2nd:no lunch 3rd:no dinner. I was like: yes, can eat supper. Lol
